Gas cylinder valve is a special type of valve mainly used to prevent negative pressure generated by pressure reducing waves in pipelines during transient processes, thereby protecting pipeline safety. It can suck in air when the pressure inside the pipeline is below atmospheric pressure, and discharge air when the pressure rises above atmospheric pressure. This type of valve is usually installed at the high point of the pipeline to ensure that the air valve can function effectively when there is a possibility of liquid column separation during transient flow under low normal dynamic water pressure.
